Ibiza Club Opening and Closing Times
The local Council of San Jose today announced the Legal Opening and Closing times of Clubs & Bars within the San Jose area which includes Space & Dc10. The other local councils are expected to follow suit shortly to unify the the whole Island of Ibiza. The modification of the local Club opening times comes after much talk of banning After Hours parties in Ibiza. Last year the legal opening times were 12 Midday - 6 Am and will now be 4:30 Pm - 6 Am. This change will effect many Promoters & Clubs of Ibiza. In Bed With Space which has always been held in Space (Playa Den Bossa) on a Wednesday morning and usually terminating in the early afternoon will have to find an alternative if these new laws are to upheld. Matinee which has been a very successful party over the last few years and also held in the Mornings till Afternoon on a Saturday will face the same problem. We Love Sundays @ Space will not be as affected as the others, as their party goes right through till 6 Am. Circoloco @ Dc10 on Mondays will have their timetable cut a little short but wont affect them as much as they also carry on through till the morning. Any Club or Bar with a capacity of 1500 or less will be given 1/2 Hour to vacate people from the premises, and any superior to 1500 will be given 1 hour. Any violation could result in a fine. This will not effect Space Opening Party as exceptions will be made for the days of Opening & Closing Partys.
